CHOQUEKIRAO TREK 4D/3N

Chokequirao, considered the second Machu Picchu, is one of Peru’s recently-discovered archaeological and cultural treasures currently being prepared to opened to tourists from all over the world. To date, only 30% of the complex has been cleared for visits by Peruvians and foreigners alike, due to the fact the site has yet to undergo a rigorous scientific investigation.

Choquekirao is a enigmatic ruined Inca city even less accessible than Machu Picchu. One day it will draw hordes of tourists but for now it is still little visited. The ultimate itinerary is to hike to Chokequirao and continue to Machu Picchu via Aguas Calientes.

Chokequirau is a magic Inca city located South West from Cusco, between Cusco Department and Apurimac Department in Peru, if you are searching other option instead of the Inca Trail to Machupicchu, this is a place to go. You have several exciting trekking days, combining the different altitudes of the Peruvian Highlands with variety of Flora and Fauna.
